Benin ZSFC200-1.6 Dry Alarm Valve

A dry alarm valve is used in dry sprinkler fire suppression systems. These systems are typically used in buildings where the ambient temperature is below 4℃. In standby mode, compressed air in the system network seals the fire suppression water on the supply side via the dry alarm valve. When a sprinkler activates, causing a drop in network air pressure to a certain value, the dry alarm valve opens, and pressurized water enters the system network to begin fire suppression.

Product Description

Product Overview

Dry alarm valves are used in dry sprinkler fire suppression systems. These systems are typically used in buildings where the ambient temperature is below 4℃. In the standby state, compressed air in the system network seals the fire pressure water on the supply side via the dry alarm valve. When a sprinkler activates, causing a drop in network air pressure to a certain value, the dry alarm valve opens, and pressurized water enters the system network through the valve to begin fire suppression.

Working Principle

The dry valve produced by our factory is characterized by its small size and light weight. It uses an eccentric valve disc. When the valve is in the standby state, the valve cover rests on two eccentric valve seats. The inner seat is the water valve seat, and the outer seat is the air valve seat. The annular space (intermediate chamber) between the two valve seats communicates with the atmosphere through the alarm pipe. There is a small amount of pre-injected water above the valve (to increase the sealing of the valve disc) and enough compressed air to close the valve disc. If any sprinkler (or multiple sprinklers) on the system side opens, causing a drop in compressed air pressure, the dry valve will open when the air pressure drops to about one-fifth of the water pressure on the supply side. Pressurized water flows into the pipeline on the system side, spraying from the open sprinkler to begin fire suppression. At the same time, water flows through the intermediate chamber to the alarm port to drive the pressure switch and the hydraulic alarm bell.
This valve has an anti-reset and external reset device. After the valve opens, it needs to be reset by externally rotating the reset handle counterclockwise (after resetting, the handle needs to be returned to the vertical position).
