A fire hydrant valve is a common type of shut-off valve that uses a gate (the closing member in the gate is called the gate, and the seat is called the gate seat) to connect (fully open) or shut off (fully closed) the medium in the pipeline. During use, avoid slightly opening the gate, as the erosion of the high-speed flowing medium will accelerate the damage to the sealing surface. The gate plate moves up and down on one side perpendicular to the centerline of the gate seat channel, cutting off the medium in the pipeline like a gate, hence the name gate valve. In the use of fire water supply networks, it is classified as a concealed stem type or an exposed stem type according to the valve stem, a flange type or a groove type according to the installation connection method, and a signal type or a non-signal type according to the control requirements.

During use, avoid slightly opening the gate, as erosion by the high-speed flowing medium will accelerate the damage to the sealing surface. The gate plate moves up and down on one side perpendicular to the centerline of the gate seat passage, cutting off the medium in the pipeline like a gate, hence the name gate valve. In the use of fire water supply networks, it is classified as a rising stem type or non-rising stem type according to the valve stem, a flanged type or grooved type according to the installation connection method, and a signal type or non-signal type according to the control requirements.

 

1. Flat bottom design. The bottom of the soft seal gate valve adopts the same flat bottom design as the water pipe, which is not easy to cause debris accumulation and makes the fluid flow smoothly.
2. Overall rubber coating. The soft seal gate valve uses high-quality rubber for overall internal and external rubber coating. Domestic rubber vulcanization technology ensures that the vulcanized valve can maintain accurate geometric dimensions, and the rubber and ductile iron valve are firmly bonded and not easy to fall off. 3. Corrosion resistance. The valve body is made of cast iron and ductile iron, and the exterior is coated with powder epoxy resin to prevent corrosion and rust, suitable for media such as cold water, hot water, and sewage.
4. Lightweight. The valve stem uses a three-way O-ring seal, with low frictional resistance, light and easy operation, and no water leakage.
“O” ring. The stem and bonnet of the grooved soft seal gate valve adopt a three-way "O" ring seal design, which can reduce the frictional resistance during opening and closing, greatly reduce water leakage, and allow the replacement of the sealing ring without stopping the flow of the medium in the pipeline. 6. Self-sealing. When the gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can be sealed only by the medium pressure, and the medium pressure presses the sealing surface of the gate plate to the valve seat on the other side to ensure the sealing of the sealing surface.
