Papua New Guinea Saddle-type water flow indicator

The water flow indicator is an auxiliary alarm device in an automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing system. It is generally installed on the water supply main or branch pipes in each zone of the system. It converts the signal of water flow into an electrical signal to monitor and alarm the system. The water flow indicator consists of a main body, a micro switch, a paddle, and a flange (or threaded) three-way valve. When a fire occurs in a certain area of the system and the sprinkler sprays water, the signal of water flow in the pipe network is converted into an electrical signal output, transmitted to the module or control center to display the fire location, and realize area alarm. When the sprinkler stops spraying water, the paddle automatically resets to the servo state, and the alarm disappears.
