central africa ZSFY150-1.6 pre-action alarm valve

A pre-action device consists of a pre-action alarm valve group, a control panel, a pressure maintaining device, and an air supply device. It is a one-way valve group device that allows water to flow into the sprinkler system in one direction while simultaneously sounding an alarm through electric, pneumatic, mechanical, or other methods. A pre-action device, together with closed sprinklers, inflation equipment, water supply facilities, and pipes, constitutes a pre-action system. In the standby state, the water distribution pipes are not filled with water. Depending on the application of the pre-action system, there are two automatic control methods for the pre-action device: one is activated only by a signal from the fire alarm system, and the other is activated by signals from both the fire alarm system and a pressure switch installed on the inflation pipe.

Product Description

Product Overview

The pre-action device consists of a pre-action alarm valve group, control panel, air pressure maintaining device, and air supply device. It is opened by electric, pneumatic, mechanical, or other methods, allowing water to flow unidirectionally into the sprinkler system while simultaneously sounding an alarm. It is a one-way valve group device.
The pre-action device, together with closed sprinklers, inflation equipment, water supply facilities, and pipelines, constitutes a pre-action system. In the standby state, the water distribution pipelines are not filled with water. Depending on the application of the pre-action system, there are two automatic control methods for the pre-action device: one is activated solely by a signal from the fire alarm system; the other is activated by signals from both the fire alarm system and a pressure switch installed on the inflation pipeline.

Working Principle

The water supply side and control chamber of the pre-action device are connected by piping. In the standby state, the control chamber is filled with pressurized water, while the system side is filled with 0.03MPa~0.05MPa air pressure to detect pipeline tightness. When a fire occurs, after the fire control center receives the fire alarm signal from the fire alarm system, it activates the solenoid valve on the alarm valve, causing the pressure in the control chamber to rapidly decrease, exceeding the adjustment limit of the throttle plate. The valve component instantly opens, and water from the supply side flows into the system side to replenish the sprinkler network. The automatic air vents on the sprinkler network exhaust air from the network. An anti-reset device prevents the valve from automatically resetting. The closed sprinklers open and spray water to extinguish the fire. A small portion of the water flows to the water motor gong and pressure switch. The water motor gong sounds a continuous alarm, and the pressure switch sends a signal back to the fire control center, simultaneously starting the water pump to continuously supply water. The fire control center controls the audio-visual alarm, achieving automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing and alarm purposes.
