The fire-resistant gate valve uses a gate plate as its opening and closing part (in the structure of a gate valve, the opening and closing part is called the gate plate, and the matching seat is called the gate seat). The gate plate moves vertically up and down the centerline of the gate seat passage. When the gate plate is fully raised, the pipe is fully open, and the medium can flow smoothly; when the gate plate is lowered and fully contacts the gate seat, the pipe is cut off, and the flow of the medium is completely stopped, thus effectively controlling the medium in the pipe. In practical use, it is necessary to avoid slightly opening the gate plate, because the high-speed flowing medium will strongly erode the sealing surface, accelerating the damage of the sealing surface, affecting the service life and sealing performance of the valve.

 Reliable Sealing:  The gate and seat are tightly fitted, ensuring excellent sealing performance. This effectively prevents media leakage and guarantees the normal water supply of the fire system during critical moments. When the gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can be sealed solely by the media pressure. The media pressure presses the sealing surface of the gate against the valve seat on the other side to ensure the sealing of the sealing surface, achieving a self-sealing effect. 
 
 Robust Structure:  The valve body is made of two materials: cast iron and ductile iron, providing a solid structural foundation for the valve. This allows it to withstand high working pressures and harsh operating environments.  The exterior is coated with epoxy powder resin, effectively isolating external corrosive factors and preventing rust. Suitable for various media environments, including cold water, hot water, and wastewater, ensuring long-term stable operation. 
 
 Easy Operation:  Whether manually operated or with a driving device, the operation is simple and easy to understand, convenient for firefighters and maintenance personnel. The valve stem is designed with three O-ring seals, which not only reduces frictional resistance, making opening and closing operations light and effortless, but also effectively prevents water leakage. The stem and bonnet of the grooved soft-sealed gate valve also use a three O-ring seal design. While reducing frictional resistance during opening and closing, it greatly reduces the probability of water leakage, supporting seal replacement without interrupting the flow of media in the pipeline, greatly improving maintenance convenience. 
 
 Optimized Fluid Design:  The bottom of the soft-sealed gate valve adopts a flat bottom design similar to that of water pipes, effectively preventing debris accumulation, ensuring smooth fluid flow, and reducing the risk of failure due to blockage. The valve is coated with high-quality rubber inside and out. Domestic advanced rubber vulcanization technology ensures that the vulcanized valve has precise geometric dimensions. At the same time, the rubber is tightly bonded to the ductile iron valve body, making it difficult to detach, further enhancing sealing performance and durability.
