central africa ZSFZ300-1.6 Wet Alarm Valve

The ZSFZ wet alarm valve is a one-way valve that only allows water to flow into the sprinkler fire suppression system in one direction, and drives the associated components to alarm under specified pressure and flow rate. It forms a widely used wet automatic sprinkler fire suppression system together with a water flow indicator, a signal valve, a pressure switch, a sprinkler head, etc. This system is in standby operation for a long time, with the pipe network filled with pressurized water. When a fire occurs in the protected area, the ambient temperature rises, causing the temperature-sensitive element on the sprinkler head to activate, the sealing component falls off, and the system automatically starts, spraying water directly to the fire area and issuing an alarm signal to achieve the purpose of alarm, fire extinguishing, and fire control.

Product Overview

The ZSFZ wet alarm valve is a one-way valve that only allows water to flow into the sprinkler fire suppression system in one direction and drives the associated components to alarm at a specified pressure and flow rate. It forms a widely used wet automatic sprinkler fire suppression system together with a flow indicator, a signal valve, a pressure switch, a sprinkler head, etc. This system is in standby mode for a long time, with the pipeline filled with pressurized water. When a fire occurs in the protected area, the ambient temperature rises, causing the temperature-sensitive element on the sprinkler head to activate, the sealing component falls off, the system automatically starts, and water is directly sprayed to the fire area while issuing an alarm signal to achieve the purpose of alarm, fire extinguishing, and fire control.
The wet alarm valve produced by our company is a cover-type structure, with two installation types: flange connection and groove connection. It is mainly composed of a valve body, a delay device, a hydraulic bell, a pressure switch, and pipelines. The entire valve body is divided into upper and lower chambers by a valve disc (stainless steel). The upper chamber (system side) is connected to the system pipeline, and the lower chamber (water supply side) is connected to the pressurized water source. A valve seat (ZCuZn38) is equipped in the valve body, and there are multiple small holes leading to the alarm pipeline on the valve seat. When the system is in standby mode, the small holes on the valve seat are covered and sealed by the valve disc. When a fire occurs in the protected area, the sprinkler head activates or the end water discharge reaches the alarm flow rate, and the pressure difference between the upper and lower chambers reaches a certain value, the valve disc opens, water flows from the water supply side to the system side, and part of the water flows into the alarm pipeline through the small holes on the valve seat, driving the hydraulic bell and pressure switch to alarm, and the fire extinguishing system continues to spray water to extinguish the fire. When the system pipeline is not properly sealed or the water source pressure fluctuates, the water replenisher in the center of the valve disc will automatically replenish water to the pipeline to balance the pressure in the upper and lower chambers and avoid false alarms.
